This page contains all the information you need on the perks which are currently available when you play as a killer in Dead by Daylight.
Killer Perks
There are currently 22 killers you can play as in Dead by Daylight. Each killer begins with 3 perks that are unique to them but more can be unlocked through the bloodweb. There are 12 perks that are currently accessible to all Killers from the bloodweb, and can be unlocked as you level up your character(s). As with all perks, the benefits vary depending on tier level.

Universal Perks
The following 12 perks are accessible to all killers on the blood web.
Bitter Murmur
Each time a generator is fully repaired, Survivors within 16 meters of the completed generator will be revealed for 5 seconds. When the last generator is fully repaired, all the Survivors auras are revealed for a maximum of 10 seconds (dependent on the tier of the perk).
Deerstalker
Reveals dying survivors’ auras when standing within range of up to 36 meters (dependent on the tier of the perk).
Distressing
Your Terror Radius is increased by up to 26% (dependent on the tier of the perk). Gain 100% more Bloodpoints for actions in the Deviousness category.
Hex: No One Escapes Death
Once the Exit Gates are powered, if there is a Dull Totem remaining on the map, this Hex is applied to it. While this Hex is active:
- Survivors suffer from the Exposed status effect.
- Your movement speed is increased by up to 4% (dependent on the tier of the perk).
Hex: Thrill of the Hunt

For each Dull and Hex totem remaining on the map, gain a token.
- Gain 10% more Bloodpoints for actions in the Hunter category for each token.
- Survivors’ cleansing speed is reduced by up to 6% (dependent on the tier of the perk) for each token.
- Gain a notification when someone starts working on a Hex totem.
Insidious
Unlocks the stealth ability.
Standing still for up to 4 seconds (dependent on the tier of the perk) grants you the Undetectable status effect until you move or act again.
Iron Grasp
Effects of Survivor struggling are reduced by 75%. Time to struggle out of your grasp is increased by up to 12% (dependent on the tier of the perk).
Monstrous Shrine
The basem*nt hooks grant the following bonuses:
- Up to 9% (dependent on the tier of the perk) faster Entity progress
- Up to 15% (dependent on the tier of the perk) increased difficult on escape attempts
- Up to 9% (dependent on the tier of the perk) increased penalty on escape fails
Sloppy Butcher

Wounds inflicted by successful basic attacks cause the Mangled and Hemorrhage status effect. Hemorrhage increases from the Survivor’s bleeding frequency from slightly to considerably (dependent on the tier of the perk). Hemorrhage and Mangled effects caused by Sloppy Butcher are removed once the Survivor is fully healed.
Spies from the Shadows
100% of the time, cawing crows give you a visual cue when within a range of up to 36 meters (dependent on the tier of the perk). Spies from the shadows has a cooldown of 5 seconds.
Unrelenting
The cooldown after a missed basic attack is reduced by up to 30% (dependent on the tier of the perk).
Whispers
Sporadically hear The Entity’s whisper when standing within a range of up to 32 meters (dependent on the tier of the perk) near a Survivor.

Teachable Perks
Each of the killer's unique perks become a teachable perk as you progress through the bloodweb. These unlock as you progress each killer to level 30+, 35+ and 40+. The order that the perks will unlock are in the order that they are listed above. When you have unlocked a teachable perk, it means it will begin to appear in the bloodweb of other characters.
